This module of AdPartner Suite controls PPC Optimization – the process of updating specific target or keyword bids, or pausing them entirely, in order to improve performance, increase sales or reduce spend.
Use the Algorithm Designer to create a graphical workflow to analyze each individual target based on its current metrics, and take one of three actions:
- Update Bid – either increase or decrease the current bid
- Pause Target – stop the target functioning
- Do Nothing – when a target is working fine, do nothing
The process of creating and using an Algorithm is:
- Create an Algorithm graph. For help and advice, see Algorithm Designer.
- Associate the Algorithm with some Ad Campaigns. See the Campaigns dashboard.
- Run the Algorithm, either ad-hoc or on a schedule you define. Runs will appear on the Runs screen.
- Either review the results, or if set to apply Immediately, sit back and let our system do the work.
Algorithm Runs can be set up to run fully automatically on a schedule, and a Run is always available to review on the Automation Runs screen. Going into a Run on the Pending Review screen lets you review what happened, and if necessary Roll Back all changes made by the Run.
A full historical record of Decisions and Applies made by the system is stored, allowing this retrospective look-back and recovery from unwanted actions.
